The “Yike Bike” – another take on folding bicycles?

I suppose they ought to have a helmet on too for safety on the road.

  1. I was amused by their summary of the position: "pothole face plant." In London, I can see the thing working, but out here in So Cal, where municipalities do or don’t repair streets at whim, it could be a problem. But he was also going a bit faster than most bicyclists and that could throw drivers off (thinking they have more time to cut him off than they actually do.) I get cut off all the time even in supposedly pedestrian-friendly Claremont, and I’ve survived them not only because God protects me but because I’m going too slow–I have time to react.

  2. for 3500 euros there would seem to be better alternatives
    the range, speed and cost are so bad
    and it looks so dopey

    all 3 of them could be very nice
