Which tricycle for my 2yr old?
i don't know what to look for in a tricycle...
i will likely take in in my car (ford taurus) to go to the park this summer, so i'm wondering if the fold-up feature would be necessary or not?
also, am considering getting one with a handle (but ones i've seen are either folding OR have a handle) so i was wondering how long that is actually used? is it pointless to buy one based on that alone?
and tires.... which are better: molded tired or inflatable?
and what kind of seat is better? one with a "back" or does it matter?
i'm considering these:

I got this for my son for Christmas and it’s great bc the seat adjusts as their legs get longer. My son turned 1 in December and is long for his age and cal already reach the pedals.. he doesn’t quite get the concept yet but i’m hoping by this summer he will get it more.
Take her to a place where she can physically try them out first.
Places like Toys R Us has the bikes out for the kids to try. This way you can make sure her & the bike are a good fit.
I think since you have a car you should get the folding kind, I don’t think the others would fit.
Take your child to the store and let her test it out, this way you will be able to see how much room she has to grow into it, my kids were both very tall and the trycicle didnt work out for us. I f you get one with a back make sure it moves for when they grow.
all kids are different but either of my kids could peddle a trycicle at 2, it is a hard thing to "get" for some kids. we did much better with a Big Wheel, (the first one you are looking at looks like it would be easier to peddle, the seat looks like it sits lower like a big wheel.) If that folds, or fits in your car, I would get that one and see if you can buy a handle to put on it.
I love the last one but with the taurus…I dont think it will fit unless it folds. I like it because you can use it as a "stroller" or a bike.
look at the reviews, they always help me to make a decision.
it’s a trike -don’t stress so much. buy the one that fits your budget & don’t forget a helmet. let your child have fun!
Check how easily it tips. My nephew had a stroller which was awful, it tipped constantly because the back wheels were not wide enough apart to create enough balance. Even when he grew into the bike it still tipped far too easily and he was forever falling off.
Don’t get a fold up one, thats just the first thing. Don’t do plastic, because plastic will break easily. Molded tires are better for the age group because inflatable will get low and little kids poke them with things. Get one with a comfy seat or get a little kids seat cushion because a little child will give up pretty easily if they aren’t comfy. Definitly do the back part on the seat because the child has a lower chance of falling off.
If you go to somewhere where you can try out the trike first then that would be best but if not then im pretty sure following these tips will be better for it.
And I like the last one most, the shade thingie will be good for your daughter.
