Which double stroller?

Hi, I have 22 month old(29lbs) and 3 month(17lbs) old boys. I will be soon a single mom. I am short and not very strong. I wont exactly be jogging but I will be walking a lot.
I am looking for a double stroller that will last a long time, which is not too big for me and easy to fold and keep in my miniwan. I saw the below:

Can you please recommend which will be good for me? Or if you have any other recommedations.

  1. Well, none of those will be able to be used in your car, as they’re jogging strollers and will need to be taken apart and assembled to fit in the car. I’d go with a Maclaren double stroller (side by side). It will last awhile and folds really well.

Since you’re small, another option would be to get the Phil and Ted Sport Buggy and convert the bottom basket to a second seat (they have the adapter). It’ll take up the space of a single stroller, so it will be much easier to maneuver.

  2. I have the schwinn and I love it, it has given me no problems at all. I would suggest making sure the front wheel swivels. I have used ones that the front wheel is always locked, and it is very hard to turn corners. I guess if you are running (which I don’t) you want the wheel to lock, but if not you want it to swivel. Mine can lock if I want it to. I picked this stroller because it was middle priced. I did not need a fancy expensive one just for walking. I also have a graco duo-glider for use in malls, etc. They both fold up and fit in my minivan. They both do fill up the way back, though (one at a time). If I have a stroller in there, I have to put groceries, etc in the 3rd row.
    Good Luck!
Edit: Mine is not the one pictured, although it is a schwinn, mine is the double safari swivel one.

  3. This is the stroller I have and I love it. And it fits in the back of my Town and Country. I walked all over Philadelphia and on average about 2-3 miles every other day with it so it is my favorite in the world. Plus it does not cost an arm and a leg to buy.

Side by side stroller are really bad in stores because they are twice as wide as a single and harder to maneuver in the store aisles. All doubles will be heavier and bigger the singles but that is to be expected because it carries two kids. I can handle this and I am not a fit person. Hope this helps.
