What’s a good bike < $200 for commuting to school?

I've been looking online for a decent bike to get to and from school, but I haven't found any good ones on ebay or craigslist in my area. I've gone to a few bike shops around my area too, but the cheapest they sell bikes is around 5 or more, which I don't have. I don't have enough money to spend on one of these, so I'm thinking of just buying one from walmart or amazon or some cheap retail store. I'm 5' 7", 145 pounds, and I'm gonna be riding about 5 miles everyday to school, and theres a few hills where I live. Does anyone know a good bike for me?

1. Keep looking on ebay and craig’s list for a shop quality bike. department store bikes are poor quality and wont last long. Try the local Goodwill or Salvation Army store for an older road bike. Police auctions are another choice. Out of the three you have listed the mongoose would be the best choice for the money.
