What’s a good all-purpose folding bike?

I want a light weight folding bike. One that can go up hills and maybe handle some off road? Are there any like this? Thanks

  1. I am not sure if it will exactly meet your criteria, but I definitely would recommend the Dahon Jack from personal experience. I wanted a folding bike that didn’t look like your average, goofy-looking folding bike, and didn’t compromise on features. It can definitely go up hills, but it is 28+ lbs in weight. It can handle some off road, but it comes with slick tires, which are best suited to urban environments. The tires do have Kevlar anti-puncture lining, though, it should be noted. This bike has served me well for commuting, and it folds up quickly.

    It may not necessarily be what you are looking for, but perhaps it can give you another option.
