How much is a standard Brompton S-type?
and where is the best place to purchase one, I live in Boston and Montreal and am not aware of any bicycle stores that carry them

Brompton make excellent bikes , I did see it in one bicycle shop in NYC . I do believe that more cycloshops in USA sell Brompton bikes . Hope that dealer will ship one for you from NYC , there will be more then one dealer also . My friend has special order and his Brompton bike came to CDN from London . Check internet where to get it . In Europe bicycles is more expensive then in USA , just let you know . Wish Good Luck .
