Should I sell this Dahon bicycle?

Today I was walking in a creek bed, and I came across a Dahon Mariner. It is not in the best shape, the front wheel looks too small, the rear gear-shifting mechanism is detached. the chain is... dead, and there appears to be problem with the front folding joint. I looked these things up, and brand new, they are from 0 to 0! So, I was wondering if I should just throw it away ( or bring it to the local bike church for donation ) or should I try to sell the frame and everything else on ebay or craigslist? I was thinking like 100 bucks or something, but I don't know... thaanks!

  1. but who would want the frame, if the folding joint is broken?
unless maybe you can ride it but not fold it
    still

    wle.

  2. A couple things to consider based on it being in a creek bed:

    - It was probably stolen and dumped.
    - If it was in there long, all the moving parts probably to be disassembled and re-greased. The parts may be rusted in place even if the paint still looks OK.

Don’t throw it away. It probably isn’t worth much money in its current state, but someone can likely fix it up.
