How strict are BART stations about bike on BART commute hours?

Specifically, I will be taking my bike on BART during commute hours at the Dublin/Pleasanton Station and getting off at Lake Merritt...I want to know if they really enforce the rule here or if I really need to buy a folding bike... thanks!
