Best folding bike for RV and campgrounds?

I've looked online at Dahon and Trek, and our local cycle shops sell both but have nothing to try out. I have a family of 4 with a petite wife and 2 BIG teenagers (210-220 lbs, large frame kids each right at 6') All we want is something that will fold and store easily in the RV and get us around the campground.

The Dahon site has so many choices I am not even sure what to get, but looking at the new Speed D7 simple because of the low price and our moderate needs.

  1. I haven't ridden one, but i like the concept of the Giatex.
    Technically it isn't a folder, it's a "stretcher". It seems like a much simpler mechanism than a folder and it fits a wider range of body sizes. It is a multispeed and the price seems reasonable.
