1. Sounds like a great idea, but it would have to fit in the carry-on size specifications. They do allow baby strollers that are to be checked at the gate, but that is necessary for a parent to use to get through a busy airport. Call your airline and see what they tell you.

2. No it wouldl not fit in the overhead compartments, extra charges see airline and allowances.
