Is a Flying Pigeon bike a good buy?

I am considering the purchase of a men's style (PA-02 or PA-02D) Flying Pigeon bicycle for daily commuting. Are they reliable for long-term use? How easy is it (in the US) to get replacement parts such as inner tubes, chainrings, and the like? Any input here will be highly appreciated and will allow me to make an informed decision before I buy. Much obliged in advance.

1. I have a Flying Pigeon but it is only for curiosity’s sake. I brought it back from Taiwan… maybe from China or Vietnam, I don’t recall exactly.

   Anyway, there should be no prblem in getting most of the parts in the US, but I would recommend that you buy a bike IN the US. It is less expensive..
