Could I use a trick bike for commuting?

I feel like this is a silly question. I know it's not the ideal bike for commuting, but I need a small bike that can fit in my backseat. It's a long story, but basically I'm plan on driving into the city, but then I have several places in the city that I need to go to. It would be silly to keep trying to find parking. Basically, I'll probably be biking around two, maybe three miles.

What do you think? Should I just get a trick bike because it's smaller?

  1. I like your idea but i still would not use a BMX. Look for a smaller bike that you can ride seated comfortably. Many guys I know fit the full size bikes in trunks or back seats. Taking off the front wheel allows this many times.
